CapSurOpera.com serves an international community of opera patrons who live in the Mediterranean coastal regions of France and Northern Spain, and those who are vacationing on the Italian and French Rivieras.
CapSurOpera founder is Michael Milenski, general director emeritus of Long Beach (California) Opera.
Michael pursued Italian Renaissance studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and at the University of Florence, his doctoral dissertation on the Italian pastoral and proto opera, and was Professor of Opera at California State University, Long Beach.
Michael offers seminars on upcoming operas of special interest that take place in a Provençal village not far from Aix-en-Provence, and leads tours to opera, music and theater festivals in France, Italy, Russia and California, as well as specialized tours that have the visual arts or architecture as a focus (in collaboration with experts in these fields). For more information consult www.festivaltour.org.
To contact CapSurOpera and Michael Milenski please write vmmilenski at Yahoo dot com (thus eliminating, hopefully, the massive spam that attracts itself to domain email addresses).
